It ain’t over ’til it’s over
Prior to the ‘Vaguely Victorian‘ photoshoot Leja and I had talked about using a change of dress whilst inside the church. Even though I’d gone to the trouble and expense of buying the dress our time inside the church had come to an end. I’d already got the images that I’d came for and I was happy enough to call it a day and go home.
Though it was a bit cold outside with high winds lashing the whole of the UK Leja suggested trying some photos outside the church. She had a make-up change in mind and had brought along some material that complimented the dress.
So we stayed awhile and took some more shots. As well as using the church as a backdrop I also shot against dark greenery and against the sky which enabled me to isolate Leya in post-production and get some different looking imagery. Am I glad I listened to Leja or what?
